What Is Individual Counseling?
Individual counseling is a one-on-one therapeutic space that prioritizes your lived experience. It’s a place to be fully seen and supported as you process life’s complexities, reclaim your voice, and discover tools that support your emotional well-being.
We meet you with empathy, not expectation. Whether you’re navigating identity, stress, past trauma, or daily overwhelm—we’re here for it all.
What We Work On Together
Clients come to individual counseling for many reasons. Some are in crisis; others simply want to understand themselves more deeply. We support you in working through:
- Anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm
- Life transitions and uncertainty
- Identity exploration and expression
- Relationship patterns
- Grief, loss, and trauma
- Boundaries, self-worth, and resilience
How We Work
Our therapists use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches tailored to your needs. This may include EMDR, DBT, IFS-informed work, mindfulness, or narrative therapy. You set the pace—we build the path together.
We also offer gender-affirming, LGBTQIA+ centered therapy with clinicians who understand the importance of identity-affirming care.
In-Person & Telehealth Options
We offer sessions in our Fort Collins office and virtually across Colorado. Whether you feel safest online or prefer to meet in person, we make therapy accessible and flexible.
