About Me

Outside of my work as a therapist, I’m passionate about creating meaningful connections and supporting the well-being of my community. As someone who offers inclusive trauma therapy, I actively engage in training and advocacy efforts to promote equity and affirming care for all.

In my personal time, I enjoy being outdoors—hiking, hammock camping, snowshoeing, and ice fishing help me recharge and stay grounded. I also enjoy hands-on activities like home projects and repairs, which connect to my love for creativity and problem-solving.

At the heart of my work as an affirming therapist in Colorado is a belief in the strength of the human spirit. I’m honored to walk alongside my clients on their journeys toward healing and growth, providing a compassionate space where they can feel understood and empowered.

Education

  • Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, University of Northern Colorado

Clinical Experience

My journey as a counselor began at UNC, where I provided therapy in gender-affirming settings and worked with clients of all ages. Over the years, I’ve worked in hospitals, substance use programs, and clinics specializing in therapy for childhood trauma and PTSD. These experiences shaped my ability to support people during life’s most difficult moments.

I offer a wide range of evidence-based therapies, including:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Play therapy for children
  • Somatic and parts-based interventions

As a trauma therapist for adults and teens, I create a safe, structured space where clients can process experiences, build coping skills, and restore their sense of self.
