Why Group Therapy?
Group therapy offers a powerful space for healing, connection, and personal growth. In a supportive group setting, individuals can process emotions, explore new coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Sharing the journey with others facing similar challenges can deepen insight, reduce isolation, and often support progress more quickly than individual therapy alone.
Benefits of Group Therapy & Peer Support:
- Faster, Lasting Change – Group therapy has been shown to accelerate healing by providing real-time feedback, new perspectives, and collective encouragement.
- A Sense of Belonging – You are not alone. Hearing others share similar struggles can reduce feelings of isolation and provide hope.
- Skill-Building in Real Time – Groups provide a space to practice coping strategies, communication skills, and emotional regulation in a supportive setting.
- Accountability & Motivation – The group dynamic fosters accountability and encourages continued growth outside of sessions.
- Affordable & Effective – Group therapy is often a more accessible option than individual therapy, making mental health support more sustainable.

Group Description
This therapeutic support group is for queer adults who want a space to be real, be witnessed, and be in community with others who understand. We know how hard it can be to find places where you do not have to explain yourself first—this group is designed to be that space.
Each week, we explore themes such as identity, boundaries, relationships, grief, resilience, and joy. Our conversations center queer experience and honor all the layers of who you are. There is no pressure to share if you are not ready; you are welcome to simply come as you are.
This group is open to LGBTQIA+ adults only. You do not need to be in crisis to join—just human and seeking connection and support.
