About Me
I became a therapist because I wanted to offer the kind of safe, steady presence I longed for growing up—a place where it’s okay to show up exactly as you are, with no need to shrink, hide, or perform. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a belief that healing grows in spaces of genuine connection.
I’ve completed Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) training through Fluence and am currently working toward becoming a Certified Inclusive Eating Disorder Specialist, deepening my ability to provide inclusive, trauma-informed care that honors both identity and lived experience.
When I’m not in session, I’m most often with my daughter and dogs, wandering through thrift stores, listening to live music, pulling tarot cards, or hunting for the perfect crystal to add to my collection. These joys keep me grounded, playful, and connected—qualities I bring into my work with every client I meet.
A Collaborative Approach to Trauma Therapy in Fort Collins
My work is grounded in curiosity, consent, and connection. I approach therapy through a lens of social justice and lived experience, honoring the complex intersections of identity, marginalization, and resilience. I specialize in trauma recovery, narrative healing, and creative exploration.
Clients often come to me with challenges around:
- Complex PTSD and trauma recovery
- Identity development and life transitions
- Grief and ambiguous loss
- Chronic illness and disability
- Self-esteem and self-worth
- Eating disorders and body image distress
- Navigating fatphobia, gender norms, and ableism
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), narrative therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Existential, Feminist/Systems Theory and person-centered approaches to guide our work. For those who are interested, I also offer culinary art therapy—a unique way to explore food, body, and identity through creative and sensory experiences. Therapy with me is flexible, collaborative, and shaped by what matters most to you.
Why Inclusive Trauma Therapy Matters to Me
Therapy shouldn’t require you to shrink yourself. I believe deeply in creating a space that affirms your identities, holds your complexity, and supports your autonomy. I’m passionate about body liberation, queer and trans rights, disability justice, and healthcare accessibility for all. These values shape not only how I practice but how I relate, listen, and hold space.
If you’ve ever felt unseen or misunderstood in traditional mental health settings, I want you to know—this space can be different.
