About Me
Born in Norfolk, VA and raised in a small town in Western NY, I’ve wandered quite a bit—living up and down the East Coast, Louisiana, Texas, and now calling Colorado home for the past three years. My life has been a patchwork of experiences that have helped shape how I show up as a therapist.
Outside of therapy, I find joy in paganism, mythology, and alternative spiritual practices, which I integrate into therapy when it resonates with my clients (or leave out when it doesn’t). Astrology is another passion of mine, offering a lens for deeper self-exploration and healing. When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying outdoor adventures, diving into creative projects like storytelling and writing, or engaging in advocacy work.
As a Navy veteran and practicing astrologer, I bring a unique perspective that balances structure, “discipline,” and the vastness of human experience. My personal motto? “Find the magic in the mundane, the sacred in the everyday—even if it’s just one thing, in one moment.”

Clinical Experience
With over a decade of experience in the medical field as a licensed Medical Assistant, I developed a deep understanding of the intersections between physical, mental, and emotional health. This foundation, coupled with my academic journey, shapes my holistic and integrative approach to counseling. My practice emphasizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, providing a space to untangle societal narratives and rediscover inherent strengths.
A note on the medical model: I strive to practice from the lens of decolonized theories, drawing on the work of Dr. Eduardo Duran and Dr. Jennifer Mullan. I know that diagnosis and medical jargon can feel intimidating, culturally misrepresentative, or even disempowering. My hope is that we can navigate these conversations together, bridging the gap between Western medical models and culturally sensitive practices that work for you.
